Had a GREAT time meeting Angie’s friend John and his family a few weeks back! We did an urban session in the Pearl and had a blast despite the cold morning! The kiddos were fabulous…. and as a reward each got a Saint Cupcake treat - bonus fun photo op, too! Thanks so much John, Sara, Steph and Keng, was a true pleasure meeting you and your wonderful children! Enjoy your Slideshow!

Hello from Seattle! I’m sitting in a coffee shop, enjoying chai, the sound of the rain and waiting for my 7pm seminar to begin. Thought I’d blog a favorites from J and Chris’ recent STELLAR wedding at the new and very fabulous Zenith Vineyard! I was lucky enough to have one of my favorite photographers along to shoot with me…. the one and only Nicole Wickens! She is a very dear friend and we were honored to capture J and Chris’ day together. As you’ll see by the images, J was breathtaking, the setting couldn’t have been lovelier and little Alex was as cute and spunky as ever! Thanks again, J and Chris.. your day was delightful! Here’s a link to J & Chris’ Slideshow

Just home this afternoon from photographing Kim and Bryant’s wonderful wedding day in LA and I’m heading back to the airport in hour - this time JAMAICA bound to photograph Mike and Sarah’s wedding - it’s going to be amazing! Angie and I will be out of the office until November 4th and may just come back with a tan! Well, Angie will at least - those who know me know I’m a shade chaser - will be enjoying the view, catching up on some work and relaxing under an umbrella when not photographing gorgeous Sarah and Mike! Farrah will be checking voicemails and emails in our absence…. thanks in advance for your patience while we’re away!!! If all goes well I’ll make a valiant attempt at catching up on blog posts while poolside or oceanside in Jamaica - so check back soon!

We’ve been as busy as ever here at KKP! SO SORRY I’ve gotten so behind on blogging! Tomorrow Angie and I were scheduled to leave for Sarah and Mike’s destination wedding in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Due to Hurricane Ike’s destruction of the resort, the wedding has been postponed until October 30th AND moved to Jamaica. Believe it or not, Sarah and Mike are getting married at the resort NEXT DOOR to where Angie and Aaron were married a year and a half ago…. Ang and I get to return to very familiar territory! I will be catching up on BLOGGING the FABULOUS weddings, events and portrait sessions from this summer once we’re in Jamaica - will be doing so poolside (under an umbrella of course) while sipping a drink featuring a paper umbrella. Can’t wait. Angie and I have a lot of ideas we’re going to work on while in Jamaica - 2009 is going to be even more amazing - the future is bright and exciting! Even though you’re blog image deprived now, just wait until early November… will be a blogfest for sure!
Before I sign off I’ll post some images of my dear friend Amy’s infants, Grace (Gracie) and Faith (Fatherton). These are a few considerations for their birth announcement - I’ll eventually post the candid and day in the life type images I got, too… those are super cute - can’t wait to edit them! I got to spend a few days with them the other week - I was in the LA area for a fabulous e-session with Kim and Bryant (can’t WAIT for their October 25th LA wedding - they are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met! And gorgeous to boot!) and extended my trip to visit Amy and meet these precious little girlies. I fell instantly in love with them and am so impressed by Amy - she’s a natural, patient, nurturing and very joyful mother! Enjoy the images…. And keep checking back for blog posts, I promise to “back-blog” all non-blogged sessions and weddings in the next several weeks!
I am leaving town for the LA area tomorrow morning - will be back late on the 8th. Angie is holding down the fort as she does so well!
Until next time!!!

I had the joy of photographing the wonderful Peterson Family a few weeks back at Esther Short Park! This is the third time I’ve meet up with these sweet girlies and their wonderful parents for a family session! Lexie and Cassidy won my heart the first time I met them as one and two year olds and they just melt me every time I get to see them! It’s amazing watching them grow and seeing their personalities shine! Thank you so much, Rick and Celeste, your family is beautiful! Enjoy your Slideshow!

It’s been SOOOO busy around here I’ve neglected my poor blog! Well, today is an EXTRA special post. My dear friends Amy and Andy are welcoming their twin daughters into the world this morning! In honor of the wonderful and newly expanded Hayton family, I’m finally posting their Slideshow and some of my favorite images from the maternity session I did for them when visiting Redlands a few months back. Redlands is a community in Southern California famous for it’s orange groves - so what better setting for their session? It was so fun to have Tony and Sue along for the shoot (and they both got some great images as well). Amy, Andy, Grace and Faith - love to you all… can’t WAIT to meet the little girlies in a few weeks!
AS I TYPE THIS BLOG ENTRY JUST GOT THE TEXT - GRACE IS 5 LBS 13 OZ AND FAITH IS 5 LBS 15 OZ. BORN AT 10:58 AND 10:59. SO EXCTIED FOR THE NEW FAMILY!!!
